How many children have autism in Ontario?

According to Ontario Provincial Government Statistics there are approximately 10,000 children with Autism in Ontario enrolled in provincially funded programs. These statistics do not include children who have not yet been assessed, have been assessed with Autism but not enrolled for some reason in the Provincial Program, or who are not enrolled in the education system for some reason.
