Shortly after the Kathleen Wynne government announced that children five years and older will no longer be eligible for IBI therapy, starting May 1, Kara called her case worker at Kinark Child and Family Services to find out what was going on.
“She told me to read the (ministry of children and youth services) website, that we no longer qualified and that we would get $8,000 (in transition money) … Then she basically hung up the phone on me,” she said.
